If you choose to connect a health plan account, we access the health-related data you authorize — such as claims, Explanation of Benefit (EOB) records, coverage details, and related clinical information — through your health plan’s official, secured data interface. Health Plan Data & Connected Applications
Some of our applications let you connect your own health plan account so the application can retrieve your health information on your behalf. We want to be completely clear about how this works:
- Access only with your explicit authorization. We access your health plan data only after you log in directly with your health plan and grant permission through their secure authorization (OAuth 2.0) screen. You choose which categories of data to share, and you can decline any of them.
- Used only for you. Your health data is used solely to retrieve, display, organize, and reconcile your own healthcare claims, benefits, and out-of-pocket costs for you and the family members covered under your authorization. We do not use it for any other purpose.
- Never sold or shared. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your health information with any third party, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing.
- You stay in control. You may revoke an application’s access at any time through your health plan’s member portal. When access is revoked, we stop retrieving new data and, on request, delete the data we hold.
- Minimal retention. We keep only the data needed to provide the service to you, and only for as long as you use it or as required by law.

How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:

- Revoke health plan access. You may withdraw an application’s authorization at any time through your health plan’s member portal.

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where an application accesses health data for family members covered under a member’s plan, that access is made only by the authorizing adult account holder on behalf of their dependents.
